When you arrive in the Skyview Temple, proceed down the circular stairs, fighting a few monsters along the way. When you get to the bottom, you must hit the crystal switch to open the door. The switch is on a ledge next to the door behind a Deku Baba (the plant with a mouth).
You should cut down the trees blocking the vines, and then shoot your slingshot at the enemy to stun it, while you dash up the vines and then get the switch. The door will become unbarred.
Making your way into the next room, you discover another barred door, and an odd eyeball looking thing.
To unlock the door, you have to make the eyeball dizzy by moving your sword in a circular fashion in front of it.
After you make the eyeball dizzy, it will fall to the floor and unlock the door to the next room. Proceed into the next room.
You will be attacked by Deku Babas and little sticky plant mines, and then fight a goblin on a platform ahead.
After defeating the goblin, shoot the switch above the door on the right to unlock it, and then go in.
In this room, you can fight the Skulltula or you can just jump down and then go to the left side of the room, where there is a crawl space.
Crawl down there into another room and then shoot the switch on top of the statue with your slingshot.
Now climb the vines and crawl back out, and head towards the main room you were just in.
You need to get the door unlocked opposite from the one you just unlocked, so you have to find the switch.
The switch is directly below the bridge to the door, so jump in the water, and search for it.
Now that the door is opened, go through it, fight the goblin, and then use your slingshot to bring the two vines down.
Now that the vines are down, swing across the way, and kill the Skulltulas from the back by stabbing them twice quickly.
Don’t leave this room yet, because you still need to shoot the switch on the wall between the two Skultullas. Stand between where they were and then look to the far side of the room, and then shoot the pink switch with your slingshot.
This will raise the water in the main room, so head back there now. If you take the door you didn’t come in from, you can grab the Dungeon Map in a chest outside.
Once you are in the main room, you’ll notice a log on the opposite wall is floating near some vines, so go there now, and climb up the vines. This will take you to the other part of the room with the crawlspaces.
Defeat the Skulltula (slice it sideways to spin it around, and then use a stabbing motion to hit the middle of it). Use your sword to make the two eyeballs dizzy, and grab the key from the chest. With this key, you can now go through the locked door in the main room, so do that now!
The next room is a large round room. Directly in front of you is a door, with a large pink switch above it. Shoot the switch to open the door, and then fight the Stalfos Knight. This guy is pretty tough because he can block from two different directions.Just remember, there are lots of hearts in the room so make sure to use them if you need to.
To get back out of the room, you have to direct the beetle to hit the switch that you used to get in there in the first place. Send the beetle out through a large hole in the room, and fly it directly into the pink switch, which will let you back out.
You can go for the optional heart piece in this room, or just proceed to the next area.
Your goal is to open the door on the western side of the room (left as you came in).
Shoot the beetle into one of the two alcoves above the door, and it will find a pink switch that unlocks the door.
Go through the door, and then continue through this are until you come to another door, and go through it.
In this room, the goal is to spin all three eyeballs to get the chest. To spin all three eyeballs, you have to climb up to the ledge in the room (with the vines on the right side) and then push the large box off of the ledge.
To get the box down from the spiderweb, use your beetle to cut it (the beetle goes right through spider webs).
Once the large box is pushed down, pull and push it to the center of the room, so that all three eyeballs open when you stand on it.
Then, move your sword in a circular motion as before, and all three eyes should eventually get dizzy and fall down.
Make sure you are far enough away, and if it doesn’t work at first, try moving the box around and trying again.
Now, grab the key and leave through the same door you entered.
To get back to the main room, you have to raise the water in this room first. To do that, send your beetle around the spider and over to a large switch.
Now climb the stairs on the left and cut the spider down from its web. I used the beetle to cut individual strands, although I’m sure there’s an easier solution. To defeat a Skulltula that is walking around, the easiest way is to flip it over, by striking from below with your sword. So, do an upwards slice. And then it will let you shake both controllers to do a finishing move.
Now that you have the key, you’ve got to go across the main circular room to the opposite side, and use it on the locked door. To get to the locked door, you have to use the beetle to cut down the Deku Babas (the beetle will cut right through the vine).
After killing the Deku Babas, walk across the tightrope and use your key to get to the next area. This next room has a scary three-headed monster. To kill it, you must slice all three heads off at once. I did one normal strike and then a spin-attack (shake both controllers one direction). It probably just takes some practice.
In the next room, kill the goblin and then use your beetle on the Skulltula, and then jump across to the next ledge.
Fight the goblin and his friend on the tight rope, and then cross the tightrope and find some vines on the right side. Climb up those, and then cut the rope swing free.
Swing to the middle of the room, and then use your beetle to open the two curled up vines.
Use the two vines to swing across the way to a treasure chest, which contains a puzzle-piece looking thing that fits into the door. So climb out of the chest area with the vines, and go back over the tightrope to the door.
Examine the door with the object, and rotate your Wii Remote to match the shapes up.

Demon Lord Ghirahim - trick him by holding your sword to one side, and then moving it to the other side before striking.
Now you will fight your first boss battle in the game: The Demon Lord Ghirahim.
Defeating him is simple if you know what to do. For his first phase, simply move your sword to one side for a few seconds and his hand will follow. Then, move your sword to the other side quickly (but not quick enough for it to be a strike) and then strike from the other side.
I held my sword out to the right, and then moved it over to the left side before striking from the left.
For the second phase, he will get a sword of his own. Just stay in one place and let him come to you. When he charges, you can do a spin attack on his weak point for massive damage.
Also, he will sometimes teleport to you, at which point you should strike him where he isn’t blocking. It will take some practice to get it just right, and remember there are plenty of hearts in the pots near the edge of the room.
After defeating him, you will get a heart container! Yay! Continue through the door to get another stone tablet.
